Bring the steakhouse home with our Fort Worth steak plates. As durable as it is functional, this plate is perfect  for your porterhouse, ribeye, burger, or any other slab of meat you desire. Durable acacia wood with no varnish, polyurethane, lacquer or shellacs, just raw wood thinly coated in food grade mineral oil.
  • 11 x 13"
  • 0.75" thick
  • Features a stainless steel grommet for hanging on display when not in use
  • Keeps grilled food hotter for longer, steak knives sharp and contains juices so they don't transfer to your plate
  • Wash your Ironwood products in warm water and soap.
  • Towel dry. Prop up to allow the wood to fully dry.
  • Never submerge acacia wood in water or put it in the dishwasher!
  • Regular oiling will help to maintain the deep luster of the Acacia wood and ensure your Ironwood products last for years to come.
  • When your Ironwood cutting board first arrives it will be thirsty, oil your board once a day for the first week to "season" the board.
  • Once your board is seasoned, oil it once a month for the first year, and at least once a year for life.
  • Our food-grade blend of mineral and citrus oils is great at preventing cracks.
  • Don't use an oil that can go bad like olive or canola oil.
  • To deep clean and deodorize your board or bowl make a paste with coarse salt and lemon juice.
Apply Salt: Sprinkle the cutting board with coarse salt like kosher salt.
Scour the surface: Using a lemon half with the cut side down, scour the surface while squeezing to release lemon juice.
Let sit, then scrape off: Let sit for at least 5 minutes, then scrape away the dirty liquid using a bench scraper or metal spatula.
Rinse: Give the surface a final rinse with a clean sponge. Prop up to dry.
  • It is highly unlikely that your board will warp if you avoid submerging it in water and oil it regularly.
  • If your board warps, wet the warped side of the board and place a heavy object on top and let gravity do its thing. A glass baking dish that is a similar size as the board works well.

Great service and product!

I had a previous 1 star about some shipping damage to some plates I ordered. I impatiently did not get a response right away about the damage and wrote a negative review. Customer service did end up contacting me from two different sources and they immediately sent out a new set of plates to replace the ones that were damaged in shipping at no charge with a discount applied to my order. They hand picked out the new set and packaged to make them even UPS damage proof! Don't forget to follow their instructions on oiling the plates along with washing care and these will make for a great addition to your kitchen collection and be a conversation piece when guests are over. Thanks again!

Wrong Plates Sent

I ordered 12 Fort Worth plates and was sent 12 round acacia plates. Customer service is helping me fix the issue.

Fort Worth Steak Plates

Great looking, wonderful design, not durable

I grew up using wooden plates for steak ( Argentinian born!) I also have a set of Argentinian round steak wooden plates. My husband got me a set of four and I love them but… they are not from a single peace of wood, so one of them has came apart. Not sure how to fix it or if will work ( I guess it should. Super sad not having the whole set. I would like someone contacting me. We todo excellent care of ours. I also have the big cutting board from Iron wood. Great piece!
