  • 10.6 x 7 inch
  • Light enough to use as a serving board and durable enough to use as a cutting board or trivet
  • Features a grommet, allowing you to easily hang on display when not in use or for air drying
  • Wash your Ironwood products in warm water and soap.
  • Towel dry. Prop up to allow the wood to fully dry.
  • Never submerge acacia wood in water or put it in the dishwasher!
  • Regular oiling will help to maintain the deep luster of the Acacia wood and ensure your Ironwood products last for years to come.
  • When your Ironwood cutting board first arrives it will be thirsty, oil your board once a day for the first week to "season" the board.
  • Once your board is seasoned, oil it once a month for the first year, and at least once a year for life.
  • Our food-grade blend of mineral and citrus oils is great at preventing cracks.
  • Don't use an oil that can go bad like olive or canola oil.
  • To deep clean and deodorize your board or bowl make a paste with coarse salt and lemon juice.
Apply Salt: Sprinkle the cutting board with coarse salt like kosher salt.
Scour the surface: Using a lemon half with the cut side down, scour the surface while squeezing to release lemon juice.
Let sit, then scrape off: Let sit for at least 5 minutes, then scrape away the dirty liquid using a bench scraper or metal spatula.
Rinse: Give the surface a final rinse with a clean sponge. Prop up to dry.
  • It is highly unlikely that your board will warp if you avoid submerging it in water and oil it regularly.
  • If your board warps, wet the warped side of the board and place a heavy object on top and let gravity do its thing. A glass baking dish that is a similar size as the board works well.
  • Feel free to contact us at sales@foxrunbrands.com with any questions.

My favorite cutting board!

I ordered this cutting board in October of 2019, and it is now March 2020. This remains my favorite cutting board!

I remember I did an absurd amount of research on cutting boards before purchasing this one. I wanted a cutting board with very specific dimensions - large cutting boards discourage me from using them (because of the cleanup), while boards that are too small become impractical if you're cutting anything of decent quantity.

We have a plastic cutting board that was the perfect size for what I like, but I wanted a wood substitute, due to how I read plastics can harbor more bacteria and that wood is actually the most hygienic (which surprised me!).

After searching far too long, I finally found this cutting board that ticked all my boxes! Perfect size, perfect material. Importantly, it was also a decent thickness, as otherwise I didn't want to be too concerned with warping. As an additional bonus, I found the wood and style of this cutting board gorgeously beautiful!

When it arrived, it was just as lovely as it appeared online! I felt less ludicrous about all the research I did on cutting boards, haha. I adore using this cutting board because of how gorgeous it is, and its size makes it very easy to pick up and use - whether for something small like a few cloves of garlic, or something larger like a few carrots or cucumbers. It is perfect for my needs!

It is also as gorgeous now as it was when it arrived! It does have knife scratches on it - what wooden board doesn't have these? - but it doesn't take away from the beautiful board, in my opinion. They aren't overly noticeable to me, and if anything, to me they signify how well-used and loved this cutting board is. :)

I have never liked a cutting board as much as this one, and unlike some other wooden cutting boards I might have had in the past, this one encouraged me to take care of it! I dry it with a cloth after I've washed it, then place it vertically on a drying rack. It's remained beautiful and flat with very simple care!

We've only applied mineral oil to it once, and probably should do so again soon - but it's held up wonderfully in the meantime. It seems very well-made and resilient, and I think it is an excellent buy, especially at this price point!

Thank you Ironwood Gourmet for making such an amazing product, and making my time in the kitchen even more enjoyable! :D

What a wonderful gift it is!

This is a beautiful and cute cutting board. Very light! I have other wooden cutting board which is heavier. I like them both. but particularly, this cutting board is a winner because of the design, too. I like that it has no handle so I can maximize using it. I hope durability will be good, too. Anyone is tired of heavy a cutting board, I recommend this one. I didn't chop or cut anything yet. but I am very satisfied with this purchase. I will update if there is any issue. Thanks!

Great little cutting board - can be used to cut large items as well!

Wow - I thought since it's such a small size that it would only be usefull for cutting things like carrots or celery. But, you can actually cut a large honeydew melon, sandwich bread etc. Nice quality wood - but remember to wash it right away and keep it oiled.Great for small kitchens.
